My trusty Accord, which has served me well is now up for sale. Why? Well, I am getting married this summer.  And I am moving to New York.  Manhattan, actually. I will have no use for my car there.  In fact, it would be a big hassle to take it and keep it.  Thus, it is up for sale.

It is a 1992 Honda Accord LX with 137,000 miles.  It is maroon / red, and has 4 doors.  It gets great gas mileage and the insurance is inexpensive.  It is automatic, has power windows, power doors, cruise control, and tilt wheel.  It has a Pioneer MP3 and CD player, and all the speakers have been replaced with premium pioneer speakers (sounds real good).

The car is mechanically sound. ( J.D. Power gives it 4 out of 5 stars for long term reliability).  It runs smooth and accelerates easily.  It still meets the original gas mileage specifications (a good indication that the car is working well overall).  The brake pads and rotors have been recently replaced. Sections of the exhaust have been replaced.   I have had it inspected, there are some repairs that could be made but nothing pressing or serious.  I can make the inspection results available to those that are interested.

The car looks good from the inside and out.  There is some cosmetic damage to the body, but it is either covered or marginally noticeable.  The car has a leather cover on the front that covers cracks in the outer plastic of the bumper caused by a minor collision. See here. The bottom section of the front passenger door has a dent.  The windshield has a small crack that has been sealed and repaired.  Their is a rust spot at the rear wheel well below the gas cap.

Here are the full details of the cars equipment, rating and reviews.

The Kelly Blue Book on the car is $2,100 to $2,955. In the interests of selling quickly I am asking for $1,950.
